Venus' summer poetry workshop is a free, online mentorship commencing this summer of 2017. Through five weeks from July 3rd to August 7th, poets are paired with experienced and supportive program mentors willing to guide them through the many realms of poetry processes, including the explorations of editing, inspirational, form, and more. This mentorship program is a flexible and informal setting where groups of young poets bond and discover alongside each other, benefitting from the experience they gain through their mentors. Mentorship students will receive weekly instruction and assignments, grow from feedback, participate in readings, and discuss work alongside peers.
